World Heritage Site
The New Lanark World Heritage Site is a beautifully restored 18th century cotton mill village. It champions Robert Owens, a mill manager who raised the quality of life for many of the mill workers. Owens helped to abolish child labour, organise good accommodation and get healthcare and good food for his staff.
For Centre Screen Productions Ltd, I programmed two exhibits for the visitors centre. The first exhibit allowed the visitor to select from films which described the life and times of Robert Owens. The second was a fun children’s game based around the local shop and the problem of food tampering.
